Razer Huntsman V2 Analog lighting issues | Razer Insider

Hi All!

I have a Razer Huntsman V2 Analog keyboard and I am noticing led issues on the keyboard.

The following issues are all related to the underglow lighting (the light strip which covers three side of the keyboard). The lighting of the keys and the wrist rest is working properly.

- The lights won’t turn off when I am turn off the computer, I need to unplug the usb-c cable and reconnect it

- Sometimes the lights won’t turn on at all, I need to unplug and reconnect the keyboard multiple times, restart the computer or connect the keyboard to an another computer for the lights to turn on

- The leds are stuck in one color after a couple of minutes. For example, if I set the lighting mode to wave the lights are starting to change their colors as they should, but after a few cycles the lights are staying in one color and no matter what I set in Synapse, the colors are not changing

- When I am entering the demo mode of the keyboard, the lights won’t turn on at all

Here is what I did:

- Reinstalled Synapse several times – same issue

- Reset the profile in Synapse – same issue

- Connected the keyboard to other computers – same issue

- Connected the keyboard to different USB-C port – same issue

Any other troubleshooting steps that I can take?

Did you already try changing the power options of the USB port?

Try to do a clean re-install of the Synapse application by following the steps here. If you're experiencing the same issue, let me know by sending me a PM so I can raise this with the Software Team.
