Razer Huntsman V2 TKL keeps disconnecting

Hello, 

 

My Huntsman V2 TKL keeps disconnecting, and it’s definitely a software issue. I can reproduce it easily if I put the lighting at 100% in the synapse app the keyboard keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds and when the lighting is at 50%, the disconnect suddenly stops and the keyboard works normally.

That is until I connect another USB device or even a Bluetooth controller, then it starts disconnecting again. I’ve tried everything, trying different usb ports, changing the USB-C cable, completely deleting all Synapse software and then reinstalling, trying Synapse 3, trying the beta, deleting the keyboard and reinstalling again, I have done every single update under the sun and it keeps happening. I have other razer devices as well, namely the kyo Pro Webcam, Goliathus Chroma extended mouse pad and a wired Viper 8khz mouse. None of theme have these issues, it’s just the keyboard, and it’s frustrating as hell.

Im having the same exact issue, first it started happening with games, I did some changes and it was working all right, now its happening absolutely all the time. Also a Hunstman V2 TKL.

Currently having this issue as well. DeathStalker V2 pro wireless. Tried 2.4G, bluetooth, closing apps, seems to get worse the longer the system runs but is to the point that any key being held when it “resets” itself is lost so in games if you’re holding the wasd key(s) you will randomly stop moving. Even typing this it randomly hangs then resets itself in 0.5s ish which causes multiple missed keystrokes and makes it a significant headache to use. So bad I will likely just use my $20 logitech backup keyboard until I can return this one. Just had a new one where the keyboard randomly started to spam the “I” with no input until I pressed the key again and it stopped. Significant software/firmware issue that’s seemingly crashing the device internally over and over or something.

I managed to have it crash less by disabling XHCI Hand-Off in my motherboard bios (Desktop PC). Also connecting the keyboard to a PCI USB HUB makes it crash less too.

I am having the exact same problems with my Huntsman V2 TKL. The frequency of disconnects changes depending on which USB hub I use, if any, and on which laptop I connect the keyboard to. But it happens with any configuration. I also think the issue has gotten worse over time. The keyboard is going to the trash now. Not buying a Razer keyboard again.
