Razer Huntsman V3 Pro has disabled my ability to use my controller on call of duty when synapse is downloaded

Hi all! I just got a razer huntsman v3 pro and a basilisk v3 mouse. First thing I did was hook it up and install synapse and fire up call of duty to see how the keyboard felt and immediately I notice my A and D keys don’t work to move side to side so I try to switch to my controller but the controller now won’t work as well. All of my firmware is up to date and it doesn’t matter if I have the older version of synapse downloaded or the new beta version. As soon as I delete synapse and all traces of it from my pc and fire up call of duty I can unplug my controller and get A and D keys back and then when I plug the controller back in not only does it work but I can auto switch between controller and mouse and key on the fly again like it’s supposed to be. If I download synapse I instantly have all of the same issues again. It’s almost like it’s seeing the keyboard as a controller and not recognizing my other one anymore.

Open your device manager and disable the Xbox 360 remote. Restart. Should work with dsx no problem

I will give it a try when I get off of work! I just want to be able to switch back to controller as im not very good on mouse and key yet. I’m using an Xbox elite series 2 controller and if I remember right the only linked devices it shows in device manage is the huntsman v3 pro keyboard, the basilisk mouse, the Xbox controller, and a usb Bluetooth for my headset

Well it's the same problem razer had with the huntsman v2. I hoped so much for a fix with the new keyboard but regarding those many posts about it they have ruined it again…

Please tell us if the trick from Casey Jsmes669 worked, since that didn't help at the v2.

No luck unfortunately. If I want to play on keyboard and then switch back to controller I have to close out of synapse and restart my pc. I tried to use razer customer support and it was an absolute joke. It’s just a bunch of automated emails trying to confirm where and when i purchased the keyboard with no help at all and if i don’t supply the info of where i bought it with a pdf receipt they said they won’t help me. I bought it new and sealed on eBay (won it on an auction) and it was exactly as described but they said that’s not acceptable so can’t even get help with a product that has their name on it. Even said I’m not trying to return it or anything I just wanted to know if it was a software issue or if they had dealt with this in the past and could maybe assist me.

I know this is late, but I was able to take my Razer keyboard in Synapse, flip the Profile to Factory Default, plug by controller in via USB and it was able to work. More cables, but it worked in COD Black Ops 6 for me which is where I was chaotically browsing for solutions. Hope this helps!

Hey, I had this issue too and was super annoying it totally knocked out my xbox controller so I only had KB&M option, it was more annoying when I found an easy fix for it, I load my pc without my keyboard plugged into usb, I connect the controller via USB and when that is turned on I then plug in the keyboard and I get no issues with KB&M or controller i get full usage of both for me to choose, the keyboard connects quicker than the controller and registers as a controller which is why it causes issues but this has fixed it 100% for me, I have the huntsman v3 pro

idk what it was, but i was having the same issue the moment i installed the software for my Tartous v2 pro it bricked all any wireless controller. but what you said to do worked instantly back to normal thank you so much!!!

Has anyone found a better solution to this instead of plugging and unplugging during boot ?

Ive just paid nearly 200 British pounds for a keyboard that knocks out my controller and I cant stop it happening

if I cant find a solution to this within 14 days, the retailer gets it back
