Razer Huntsman V3 Pro keys lagging or getting stuck

I bought this keyboard today. It feels fine, but when I play a game (Battlefield 6) I get stuck sprinting whenever I press left shift. From what I could see, it would delay the input and hold the action until I pressed the left shift key again. (I would be sprinting constantly even when not pressing shift).

I see other threads where people uninstalled Synapse, I have but I haven’t tested it yet to see if it fixed yet (will update when I test it again).

Hello there, @MarkyMarkTheFunkyBunch!

Reinstalling the app is the way to go. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a message via PM along with your keyboard’s serial number so I can validate it in our system and check for other workarounds.

Hi MarkyMarkTheFunkyBunch,

I understand that your Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is experiencing issues where you get stuck sprinting in Battlefield 6 whenever you press Left Shift. That “stuck sprint” usually comes from either a software conflict Razer Synapse or in‑game settings. Let’s try a few troubleshooting below to isolate the issue.

1. Make sure the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro firmware is updated.

2. Make sure Windows is fully up to date.
3. Try a different USB port, preferably directly on the motherboard, not through a hub and see if the behavior changes.

4. Perform a clean reinstall of Synapse.

5.  If you have another game installed, try using Left Shift as sprint there and see if it also gets stuck. If it happens across multiple titles, it’s more likely tied to the keyboard/driver side than Battlefield itself.

If you’ve gone through these steps and the issue persists, please send me a PM with the device serial number and short video showing the issue so I can take a closer look. Best regards!
