Razer Iskur - Wobble from the front to the back and side to side
Howdy folks!
I've got an active ticket on this issue, but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue with their Iskur. In September, there was a loud POP from my base and suddenly my Iskur wouldn't stay level and would lean side to side like crazy. Thankfully, support got me a new base which I've been using until it started to have the same kind of issue a few days ago. The side-to-side isn't as drastic, but the chair will slope forward hard with light pressure ( 12 to 13 degrees last time I measured) and makes sitting for any more than an hour pretty uncomfortable. Of note, on this replacement base, the tension spring will not turn more than a few millimeters; but I'm not certain if that is the root cause or not.
I've read about other chairs having this issue due to plastic bushings inside of the base breaking around where the gas piston comes in. Has anyone else experienced this issue or something like it? I love the seat of my Iskur, but hot dang I am not a fan of these bases as I'm getting pretty wary of them going out pretty quickly.
