Razer Kaira X microphone not working on PC

I've just bought the razer kaira x headset and the sound and mic quality is fantastic but the mic doesn't work on my pc. I tried it on my phone and it's very nice, but when I plug the headset on my PC the mic doesn't work and before you ask, my computer has a combo jack so it's not the typical problem. I've tried rolling back realtek drivers but to no avail. I've also downloaded the latest ones but no luck there either. I watched and tried every tutorial on youtube, but it still doesn't work and I am about to go mad. What can be the issue?

      have you tried going into ur microphone settings and making sure all ur apps are allowed access to ur microphone?
