Hi, Bought this headset a few weeks back but haven’t had a chance to use them until now because of vacation.

I’m getting two issues while using these.

First is the most annoying, static noise during every session I use them.
The sound gets garbled and alot of static distortion of audio. Happens on every lengthy session I use them.

The second issue is connection problems. Half the time when powering on they wil not connect until the 3rd - 5th attempt.

The Headset App on my Xbox Series X tell me the headset is allready up to date, and I have the latest Xbox update from 1-2 weeks ago.

Is RMA my only option here?

I also have issue with Kiara headset and Series X.  I have issues where the audio breaks up and also when turning the headset on it will take 4 or 5 attempts before it finally connects to the console.

 

I also get an issue where if I am using them via Bluetooth on my laptop, they are constantly trying to connect to the Xbox and keep beeping, even the Xbox is turned off.  There is the problem where when I turn the Xbox off, everything powers down and then randomly the headset and Xbox power up again by them selves!  

I have had nothing but issues with Razer headsets and the Series X.

I returned my headset last week. I was not the only customer to return it they said, and the store is planning to stop selling the product because of all the customer complaints. 

Score = Consumer: 1 / Razer: 0 
Nice to see Razer are not getting away with releasing bad products and actually will loose income because of it.


That’s interesting.  I only have mine as I had to RMA 2 previous headsets, Krakens I think because they didn't work with the Series X either.  I have suffered through it for ages now, so outside my window for returns.  Think it’s to switch brands.  

 

Shame, because the first ever gaming headset I had were the Blackshark 2.0 and they were amazing, but they were wired not wireless.

I have owned 2 Razer products and both had issues. And no official help from Razer team, just community reddit and forums.

I actually went back to my original Xbox Wireless headset. Replaced the leather earpads/cussions with fabric pads from steelseries. Headset is now super comfortable to wear in longer sessions.
