Razer keyboards not detected in POST/UEFI | Razer Insider

I've been using a Razer Huntsman for a long time pretty happily (although the volume dial broke pretty early). However after a recent Razer Synapse update, my keyboard is no longer detected during PC boot - I see a "Keyboard not detected" error during POST, and can't use the keyboard to e.g. access UEFI BIOS or other settings. Once the Windows boot drive selection screen appears, the keyboard is eventually detected after 15-20 seconds on this screen.

I thought it might be a hardware issue and bought a newer Huntsman V2 Analog to troubleshooting. It worked at first, but immediately stopped working once Synapse updated and recognized the new keyboard after my first boot.

Is there a known issue or configuration settings with Synapse that could be causing this? It's preventing me from changing settings I need access too in my BIOS.
Synapse have nothing to do during POST (because OS it's not even loaded), so no - it can't cause this behaviour.

Try firmware update for your huntsman if available, also BIOS update.

Check BIOS settings for some USB keyboard settings.
