Razer Kishi V2 disassembly | Razer Insider

Hello,

i have a kishi v2. I bought it for a Samsung S22 Ultra.

I thought it would be good for it and more likable than its cheaper counterparts.

When the phone is in its case, the controller cannot be used. It cannot be attached to the connector because a few mm are missing.

I bought another case to see if it will work. The only thing that seems usable is the silicone case, but even there it lacks a small and imperfect connection.

I don't want to use a 1500 euro phone without a case. I'm sorry that designers often don't take this into account. It's even worse that the test makers don't deal with this important thing either.

But that's not why I'm here now.

I want to keep the Kishi. Therefore, I would take it apart and place the USB connector a little higher. This requires some tinkering, no problem. I hope the electronics in it are reliable and I don't need a warranty.

I went so far as to remove the four screws on the right side. This raises the whole thing so much that I can connect the phone without any problems. If I loosened the screws a little, that helped.

However, on the right side, something still holds the two plastics together. If there is a way to do it, I don't want to break the pieces there.

How to disassemble the device properly (without breaking it)?

Best regards!

Julian
