Razer Kitty BT headset mutes all game sounds when connected to discord

I bought the headset as it is advertised as a Gaming headset, however, after searching high and low on a fix it appears it is not possible to be able to talk in discord and be able to hear my game sounds in World of Warcraft. I have tried every work around I could find, reset, re-installed, pressed buttons and can find nothing to fix it, I have 2 options it seems 1: return the headset for a refund as it's not fit for the purpose I bought it for (never again will I be swayed by pretty flashing lights) 2: put up with poor quality game sounds and use it as a bluetooth hands free headset, which again is not acceptable. Has anyone managed to fix this so I can get good quality game sounds and still talk to my friends or have I invested in the wrong product?
