Razer kitty kraken intermitent connection


Hi! My razer kitty kraken has been under RMA and the agent told me that they will replace my headset after cutting the cable wire. Until now I haven’t heard from razer with regard to my shipping details. It’s really frustrating, they’re ignoring my messages. Can you please tell me how long does it usually take to process the replacement? Thanks in advance!

Hey other people have been having the same problem however we think it has something to do with synapse not actually the headsets wires

I have the same problem with popping/disconnecting. From the day I shipped mine out to when I got a replacement was 11 days. Might differ depending where you live. However, the new set they sent me has the exact same problem, so don't hold your breath.

the razer support team gave me some series of procedures to do the troubleshooting to check if it’s defective or just the synapse. Unfortunately, it didn’t work after that. That’s why it was declared defective and we moved forward to the replacement.

until now they don’t give me the tracking number for the replacement . I hope the new set doesn’t have problems . It is really frustrating

I actually didn't get an email with the tracking number until the day it arrived lol. So maybe they have shipped yours and didn't send the email. I think they are having some delays in support.

Good thing, I got an email today with the tracking number and it will be delivered on March 15. I hope it works well though haha.

Mine has the same issue and only works if synapse is not installed.

Mine’s still not working without the synapse, it’s still disconnecting

Have you tried uninstalling your audio inputs and outputs drivers in device manager for all the ones that come up with the kitty headset? I just spoke to tech support about 15 minutes ago and that seems to be helping for now....

Yep! Razer support gave me the procedure to do a series of troubleshooting. Unfortunately the problem still occurs after that.

Yeah I did the same troubleshooting. Are you sending them back again? I'm considering returning them as it feels like $150 paperweight since they can't resolve the issue :(

No I didn't. They just ask me to cut the cable of my headset and send the pictures of the cut cable with the serial number. I still have my defective headset with me.
