Razer Kiyo Pro can't do 60fps after firmware update

After the latest update, a few days before this post, my Razer Kiyo Pro can’t do 60fps. I’ve tried the camera app and OBS and the video is 30fps when it is set to 60fps.

How can I get this fixed?

Hi ztransform,

I understand that your Razer Kiyo Pro is stuck at 30fps despite being set to 60fps after the firmware update. To isolate the issue, please try the steps laid out below:

  1. Ensure that the device is connected to a USB 3.0 port, as USB 2.0 ports may not support 60fps output. Try using different ports or a different cable if available.
  2. Ensure that your OBS and any other software you’re using are updated to the latest versions.
  3. Try using a different application (like Zoom or Skype) to see if the camera performs as expected. This will help determine if the issue is with the camera or specific to the software you're using.
  4. Ensure that your computer isn't overloaded. High CPU or GPU usage can affect streaming performance, including frame rates.

If you've tried all the above steps and the issue persists, PM me the following information below so I can initiate a case on your behalf:

a. MSinfo logs.
b. Screenshot of Windows version.
