Razer Kiyo Pro Firmware Downgrade

Hi there.

I upgraded the firmware of my Kiyo Pro from whatever it was when I bought it to 1.5.0. Since then, I experience constant disconnects/failures of the cam.

How do I downgrade the firmware and where do I find old firmware versions?

Mine came with the upgraded Firmware and it just keeps disconnecting all the time. I have tried all the usb3 ports on my desktop.. does the same… Flickers even in synapse preview window…

I think that Firmware 1.5.0.0 compared to 1.5.0.1_r1 had the better picture.  It looks on dark black background worse than wit 1.5.0.0

We definitaly need the other FW to downgrade! Or someone on the Razerteam who wil work on it. And this fast! Days running out that i can send it back.

@lynxcore what was your version before upgrade?

Can someone give me the link to download fw 1.5.0.0?

I tried a total of 3 Koyo-Pro cameras and finally gave up.. I ended up getting the Logitech StreamCam and it is beautiful. Works great and the best part.. It doesn’t disconnect after a minute of use.

On windows 11 its realy full with glitches. Even the manual focus slider does a lot but not what it should.

What type of USB Port did you use? I mean the Kiyo freezes. Its fact but disconnects i did not directly get. Kiyo uses 3 usb drivers. Video, Audio and USB composide device. And the composide device driver crashes here in a scenario.Saw some flickering yes but now its connected to my USB 3.2 Gen2 port.

I did my settings and pray not have to touch them.  Who was the coder for the Drivers and Firmwares? Bro..Litle bit more diligence is not to mutch asked i think!

Logitec i avoid but for no reason. Cam looks good.

I think I will do the same. Very poor customer support.
