Razer Kiyo Pro keeps disconnecting


Moments after turning on OBS my Kiyo Pro freezes. OBS still runs but cannot find the camera.

 

To get my computer to find the camera

 

1: I have to unplug the camera from the computer.

2: Restart the computer.

3: Plug the camera back in.

4: Open Razer Synapse and reselect the Kiyo Pro.

5: Turn off Razer Synapse.

6: Load OBS

Moments later the camera freezes again.

 

I uninstalled razer synapse to see if the latest update was the problem. As the problem started after the April 15th update to the software. The problem still persists.

 

The only way to get the computer to recognize the camera is to unplug and plug back in after a computer reset. But after doing this the camera freezes when trying to stream.

Please help as I have gone back to my old camera but my old camera isn’t 60p capable.

I have the same issue. Don’t even both trying to fix it, nothing I have found online works. I’m returning mine and going with a different brand because support is no help
