Razer Kiyo Pro says camera is currently in use by another application

I have been beyond stuck on trying to get the Razer Kiyo Pro to function properly.

 

I have tried for hours to get my razer kiyo pro to work but everytime i go to synapse to initialize the camera, it loads on a grey screen for around 30 seconds and then says camera is currently in use by another application EVEN THOUGH synapse is the only application running on my computer. I have gotten it to work for one discord call at a time periodically, just for it to be stuck and not work for hours at a time again. Here are the steps that I have taken:
1. go to task manager and stop all processes related to cameras.

  1. Updated the firmware to the newest version.
  2. constantly unplugged and replugged the camera  and restarted my pc to no end.
  3. tried every generation of port directly on my mother board.

If you have any solutions please help me out because right now all I have is a nice paper weight, thanks in advance for the help!

Also to add to my original message, I have tried it on two different windows 11 devices and also used synapse 3 and 4 with the same result on all platforms. I’ve also used different cables including the original cable just to cover all the basics. I know that this is a constant issue with no clear solution so not sure what to do from here since it is outside of support window and I can’t get any help with it now.
