Hello,
I’m hoping you can help me with an issue affecting my Razer Kiyo. Unfortunately, the standard support form will not allow me to open a case because the camera is outside its limited warranty period, so I’m reaching out here in hopes of getting in contact with a support representative.
My Kiyo recently failed very suddenly during normal use. It began producing an unusual electrical/static-like noise, the ring light became stuck, the small status LED started faintly flickering, and the unit became abnormally hot before becoming completely unresponsive. After leaving it disconnected and allowing it to cool down, it briefly worked again one time, but the same failure immediately returned after slightly adjusting the ring light.
I understand that my camera is outside the standard warranty period, however, after researching the issue, I found a significant number of reports from other Razer Kiyo owners describing remarkably similar symptoms and failures, including many reports here on Razer Insider.
Because of how specific and consistent these reports are, and because my camera failed during normal use without any physical damage, modification, or misuse, I’m convinced that this is a recurring hardware/component defect rather than ordinary wear or an isolated failure.
I would therefore really appreciate it if Razer could review my situation considering the history of this particular failure and offer an appropriate solution. I believe it would be reasonable for the circumstances of the failure to be evaluated beyond simply determining whether the standard warranty period has expired.
The camera was purchased new in January 2025 and was registered to my Razer account shortly after purchase. I can provide the serial number, original proof of purchase, photos/video, and any other information needed privately.
If a Razer Support representative could contact me via PM or help me create and escalate a support case, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully finding a satisfactory resolution.
