Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma V2 - Mercury Edition (Sound cutting out)

Hi, So I bought the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma V2 last month. But everytime when there's a loud noise it cuts out. The sound instead goes to my monitor for like a second or 2 and then cut off again to my headset. It's not only annoying because of the sound, but my pc doesn't like it aswell (frame drops etc). I use an usb extension cord, because the cable is otherwise not long enough to go behind my desk. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi there! Thanks for bringing this up. By the way, are you referring to Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 or Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma? Does the issue happen when your headset is directly connected to your computer's USB port? Please try using another USB port while the headset is directly connected to your PC so we can isolate the issue between a computer USB port or a USB extension cable.

Seems to be the extension cable. I would like to keep it, because otherwise the cable is kinda in the way. Any fixes that relate to the extension cable? Sorry for the late reply btw.

Thanks for sharing! Do you have a free USB port in front of PC so you can plug in your headset there? You can also rearrange your computers positioning for you to have better access to its ports.
