Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 not eligible for 7.1 Suround Sound. Why?

Hey community, I don’t have the retail box of my Kraken 7.1 V2’s any longer so cannot easily provide the activation code to the surround sound software. However, using the link below you can get the code by providing the serial number of your headset, which I did and it says my headset is not eligible for 7.1 surround sound?! How? It’s in the name of the headset XD

Error: “Your Razer device is not eligible to receive a 7.1 Surround Sound activation code. Please refer to 7.1 Surround Sound System For Gaming Headset for eligible products.”

 

So I assume there's no way for me to get the surround sound feature to work on this headset? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
