Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 Stuttering and Cracking

My Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 has recently started slightly stuttering/crackling. I just installed the newest driver but it still is happening. The cord tangles on its own and I can't permanently straighten it if that has anything to do with it. Do I need to get a new headset or is there a fix to this issue?

Please indicate what OS your PC is running and if this happens with and without Synapse. For now, try to disable all the sound enhancements and play around with the default playback format via the sound control panel settings.
