So I’m looking for some suggestions as to what might be wrong with this headset…

I am using an ASUS BT500 Bluetooth 5.0 dongle for pairing the headset to my PC however as soon as I open discord and select the audio configurations to set the headsets mic as the input device all output just ends as long as Discord remains open.

The same thing happens if I open the windows audio configuration settings and try to test the microphone, headset output ends until this process is ended and thus I am in a situation where I can’t use use the headset for audio as well as use the built in microphone… it simply does not work.

The only way I can have discord open and keep sound is to disable hands free telephony in my Bluetooth device configuration and this disabled the headsets mic from being selectable at all.

is this a normal experience for this headset?  I had hoped to use the built in mic but it seems I am unable too,  the sound quality is not as high as I expected for what is not a cheap device.

Any suggestions would be appreciated…  My daughter loves the kitty ears on these things and so I would very much like to keep them, however if they don’t work then I don’t really know what to do.

Is it my dongle?  is it my Headset?  Configuration?  HELP!!! thankyou all.
