Razer Kraken Gaming Headset mute switch not working

I have the Razer Kraken Gaming headset and the mute switch has worked for the past 7 months on my PC, but recently it stopped working. Even if I turn the mute switch on, my mic still connects the sound. I normally use it for gaming and discord on my PC, so I tested the mute switch on my Mac and it worked. For some reason it doesn't work on my PC.

      Were there any updates applied to your system before the issue? Are you using the 3.5mm audio jack alone or with the audio extension cable? I'd like to take a closer look by sending me the serial number of your headset via PM. That way, I can also look into possible solutions.
