Razer Kraken Headset Mute Toggle Not Working

This is my first pair of razer headset or even a pair that I've spent more than 25 dollars on. The mute toggle doesn't work when I have background music on while I'm in a discord VC like it mutes my voice but not my music. Yes I have it pulled out away from the headset its self and the music isn't even at 50% volume. Is this a common problem with razer headsets? And is there a way to fix it?

    What you're experiencing is called crosstalk which is a hardware issue. The audio signals from the drivers are picked up by the mic's circuitry, which is why your friends hear the background music even when the mic is muted. You will want to get the headset replaced.
