Razer Kraken Kitty BT - issue with discord, mic crashes sound
I've been having an issue with the Razer Kraken headset crashing the sound drivers on my computer if I try and use the on-board microphone. When I have a different mic input set everything is fine and the audio output is fine, but when I switch the input to the Kraken the issues arise. I've made sure all the drivers are updated and that it works with other software (the Microsoft voice recorder in particular)

Yes, still the same issue. It works fine if I disable the mic element (hands-free ag audio) and just use the headset component but otherwise both aspects of the device don't work when discord tries to interact with it. It worked again with the onboard Microsoft Recording software included as standard, until I went to sounds to look at the device whereupon it crashed both components again

Try to reinstall the driver of your headset and check the steps here for further isolation. If you're experiencing the same problem, PM me the serial number so I can validate its model specifications and look for other workarounds to help you resolve the mic issues of your Razer Kraken Kitty BT.
