So recently my Razer Kraken Kitty Edition headset has been experiencing a strange problem wherein the HID-compliant headset drivers are conflicting with Windows 10 and subsequently causing my PC to crash and reboot itself when I'm gaming or doing other tasks on my PC. When checking my Event Viewer, I notice the codes related to the crash correspond with two specific errors:
Error Code 10110: "A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices."
Error Code 10111: "The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem."
From what I can gather, the codes refer to the drivers of my Razer headset. I tested with another different brand headset and did not experience any type of errors or crashes, so this leads me to believe my Razer headset is the definite culprit. Now, I've tried a variety of troubleshooting steps including re-installing Synapse, uninstalling Synapse, unplugging and replugging in the headset. Nothing I have tried has provided a definite fix. I'm extremely disappointed as I really enjoy my Kitty edition headset.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, knows of a fix?
