Razer Kraken Kitty headset dis-an reconnects with popping sound

Hello everyone,

It seems like quite a common problem also keeps happening with my Razer Kraken Kitty headset. It keeps dis- and reconnecting which then leads to lag. By the end of the month, I have it for 2 years. I've gotten it as a Christmas present back then. When this problem first started, it wasn't as frequent and I thought it was due to my PC being old and leggy anyways. But over the past 6 months, it has gotten considerably worse! At some point, my headset was constantly disconnecting and this irritating loud popping sound happened every time as well. When my old PC gave out over a month ago, I hoped that maybe it was the problem all along. But - no. I have a brand new Gaming PC, windows11 and at first, everything was fine. Then it started happening again. I really don't know what to do. Do I send it back or is there a way to actually fix it?:(

mine does the same thing but only when im playing a game and im in a discord call with my friends, but if im not in call in discord its working like it should.

My friend has found the erorr! i had to remove the geforce experience idk why but it is works now!

Wanted to provide and update to this.  I haven’t opened the Geforce Experience app in ages.  I opened it and it did an automatic update on it as it was loading up and now no popping noise.

I bought a Razer kraken ultimate 4 years ago, this issue cropped up 3 years into it’s use where any disturbance of the wire would result in the loud pop followed by the headset disconnecting from my pc & resetting my audio settings as if it was a new device. Last year I decided to replace it with a Razer Kraken Kitty ultimate to fix the problem. And it did. I’ve had this new headset for around a year now, but in the last few days this issue has started on my new headset. I’m fairly certain that for me the 1st break was caused by a physical fault in the wire, but for the 2nd headset.. I have no idea. I’ve never disturbed or tensed the wire or done anything that would damage it, it’s just randomly started doing it after maybe 6 months.
