Hey, i have very weird problem with my Kitttys. As i connect them to my pc it shows me two weird options. First is headphones Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT - Stereo, second is Headset Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT Hands-Free AG Studio. When i use Stereo option it perfectly works with 7.1 sound and everything works fine. When i try to use microphone it need to be changed to Hands-Free but then 7.1 dont works and the sound is terribly. In Razer Synapse app i have only settings for Sound, Lighting and Power. There are no options for Microphone. Everything is updated. I hope anyone will help, im fighting with it for nearly 4 hours. :(

 

I have 3 BT Razor headsets (2 Kitty, 1 Barracuda) and they all have this issue.

As you noticed, whenever you use a communication service drivers switch from headphones to hand-free. Communications doesn’t need same high fidelity audio as games, but it is odd why they chose this way of doing it notably because they aren’t doing these gaming headset just to answer phone calls.

Sadly Razor doesn’t seems keen on resolving this issue as there is threads that are about a year old. Only solution at the moment is to deactivate the hand-free device and have a different microphone handle the communication.
