Razer kraken kitty V2 not recognized by synapse

I’ve tried everything i read on support but synapse still does not recognize the headset. I Have uninstalled and reinstalled synapse4 3x. I have restarted my computer everytime. The headphones load when I connect them to the computer, I thought it migh have been the cable. Nothing I so seems to get the device to be recognized. What should I do ?

Hi purplebee_,

I undertand that your Razer Kraken Kitty V2 isn't being recognized by Razer Synapse 4 despite your efforts. To isolates the problem, please try the steps below to fix the issue.

  1. Open “Device Manager”. Right-click on the “Start” icon and select “Device manager”. Alternatively, type in “Device Manager” in the Windows search bar and click “Open”
  2. Expand “Sound, video and game controllers”.
  3. Right-click on “Intel® Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio” and select “Disable device”.
  4. If the device does not exist or the driver is already disabled and the issue persists, check for any Razer headset driver errors.
  5. Use the Device Detection Troubleshoot Tool if you see a driver issue.
  6. Collect Razer Synapse 3 logs if the issue persists.


If the Razer headset driver is missing from the Device Manager, get a screenshot and PM me the follwing information below so I can kickstart a case for you and forward this to our Razer Support team for investigation.
