Razer Kraken Mic Not Working

Hello, I recently signed up for an online class which requires me to have a working mic. Sadly, it seems to me that the microphone does not seem to work at all on these Razer Kraken headphones. I feel like I have run out of options on how to fix this, and I am unsure of what to do now. I have tried going into the Control Panel on two different computers. It seems to me that both computers also don't even recognize the headphones plugged into the jack, because they don't even come up as an option in the Sound window. Which I find odd because I can hear perfectly fine out of them. The mic does work however with my Xbox One controller. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, VinylMalibu

    2 questions, have you run the troubleshooting for the mic? and have you changed the setting by right clicking on the speaker on the task bar and going to Open Sound Settings and changing your default microphone to the mic on the headset? Example...sometimes I wear the headset other times I don't..so each time I want to change which I am using I have to do what I am asking....you'd be surprised how many folks miss this step.
