Razer kraken mute switch on the cable making loud noise when touched

My razer kraken headset is fine and muting works but when I mute there is a wierd bang or something and when I just touch move the mute switch around or even touch it it makes a loud noise I cant hear it but when im talking to someone and i mute the mic the other person hears it

    Have you tried uninstalling the driver in the device manager? Make sure both the Synapse 3 and Windows OS are up to date as well.
