Razer Kraken Picking Up Audio - Even When Mic Is Turned Off

Hi, I am experiencing a problem with my Razer Kraken headset. It picks up audio from any application that is running on my windows computer. This occurs even when the mic is fully extended and away from the headphone, with audio enhancements off, listen to this device off, microphone boost and levels set to minimum values, and even the microphone being off. With the microphone off (set by the switch) it will still pick up the desktop/application audio but not my voice or me tapping on it. Thank you for any help.

Update: This only seems to occur if my mic is plugged in and I change from focus discord or another voip application to another application (i.e. bringing up discord and reconnecting my mic will not output youtube audio which has been going on in the background, but changing the application focus to youtube will cause that audio to be output over the mic).
