Razer Kraken Pro V2 Mic Problem | Razer Insider

Soo... i've bought a Razer Kraken Pro V2 yesterday.

Im using it with a ASUS Xonar DGX Soundcard. Im using the included splitter for the headset.

(Before i was using a Logitech G430 WITHOUT any problems at all but wanted to try out the Razer Kraken)

My Problem:

Even when i muted my mic with the volume / mic control thing on the cable, it is still picking up sound from windows.

For example:

Im in Teamspeak with voice activation, i mute my mic with the remote on the cable, play some music (loud) teamspeak (and any other program) will still recognize the sound and people can hear it in teamspeak in perfectly clear quality. They can only hear the music and themselves (if they are loud enough) but can not hear me, so the mic IS muted but still something is messed up inside the headset. And this happens even when im not muted.

I've tested this on 2 PC's, with onboard sound, soundcard and even a usb soundcard. Same results.

No problems at all with my G430 - and all im doing is changing the 3,5mm jacks. No other software, no software changes, nothing.

Yes the mic is fully extended

Yes stereo mix is disabled

Yes the adapter is connected properly

Yes "listen to this device" is disabled

Yes it has been working for 3 years now with any other headset on this PC

The hell is going on? I never had such a problem with a headset. No matter what i do, this headset will always pick up windows sound and send it to teamspeak / whatever voice chat program im using.

Same problem as this guy from reddit:

Anyone got a clue what this could be?
