Razer Kraken TE keeps disconnecting and re-connecting

Every now and then, my Razer Kraken TE headset drops its USB connection for a second -- I hear the Windows tones indicating that a USB device has disconnected -- then re-connects -- I hear the Windows tones that indicate a USB device has connected. My USB keyboard and USB mouse is fine. My Razer Kraken TE is connected to a USB3.0 port. I had tried a USB2.0 port before with bad results. I noticed this happened after a driver upgrade during the last week. Has anyone else seen this issue?
