Razer Kraken TE Mic Jack

So I have a quick question about the Razer Kraken TE Mic Jack. To give you full context, I have two cats and need to store my headset in a place when the cats will not get to it. I also need to keep the THX adapter/box thingy (don't know the proper term for it) where I can use it. This means that I'll end up having to unplug my headset from the THX box, and store it away every night. Will this repeated unplugging/plugging in damage my headset? Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
