Razer Kraken TE Mic not working

I purchased the Razer Kraken TE from Best Buy Canada (online) and received it today. After setting everything up, I was able to receive sound, but nothing came out of the mic. I tried testing the mic in Gmod, Discord, and even the Synapse app, no sound was detected. I double checked to make sure the defaults were set correctly, and they were. Any ideas? Edit - I tried the following:
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling synapse
  • Disabling other devices
  • Uninstalled the headset drivers
  • Tried a different USB port
  • Tried using the 3.5mm jack port

    I had similar experience with Nari Ultimate. I can hear music but mic is not picking up wirelessly. Also tried the whole FAQ route (reinstalled Synapse, disabled and uninstalled devices, tried different USB port which works on the keyboard/mice) Seems to be some sort of conflict between Synapse and a Windows Update (see /synapse-3-razer-nari-ultimate.59100/) Edit: I tried the suggestion in the link above (which was to use the repair feature in the Synapse). After the repair finished installing and asked to restart, the headphone appears in Synpase and the mic works (confirmed in Discord voice test)
