Razer Kraken TE Mic Quality

When my Razer Kraken TE is plugged into the separate little controller for audio, the mic starts glitching out hardcore every 15 or so seconds, and the intensity of the glitch varies. This does not occur when I plug the headset directly into the computer, bypassing the controller, but I intend on using the audio controller because it makes output sound much better. Below is an example of one of the audio glitches. Edit: its been fixed :)
