Razer Kraken TE with Game Chat balance problem

Hello, As the title said, i am having troubles with my game/chat switch on my audio controller on my newly purchased Kraken TE. It only controls volume and does not filter between game and chat. discord and my computer are the same settings as instructed in the manual. Game = Audio, Chat=Comms. i followed the instructions given to me by the manual and i dont know what wrong still. any help would be very appreciated Thank you
