Razer Kraken Tournament Edition: Cabel Issue?

Hey all,

I wanted to know whether or not sb. else witnessed the same issue:

The headset is working overall fine, the only problem is that the cable connected to the USB-Controller is made of a rough and robust material, it transmits the noise into the headset with every touch of any material: It is very loud and really uncomfortable.

If this is not a malfunction, i assume all Razer TE Headsets have this issue!

I would appreciate further information,

Greetings!

Does your Razer Tournament Edition Headset has the same issue?

Are you referring to the noise generated when the braided cable rubs onto your shirt? Is this something you can capture on a recording? I'd appreciate it if you can share a short clip of this happening so we can get a better understanding of what's going on.

Yes exactly ... I can hear that noise whether the headset is conncted or not. Each time it touches for instance my jacket or shirt it forwards the sound in to the headset. You can't hear it from the outside, as it only transmits the sound into the headset itself. I made a video-recording with my phone by holding it next to the headset... for some reason i can't upload it on here:

I uploaded it on YouTube you can access the Video with this link here:

Thanks Alot!

I can hear a lot of cable drag, but I'm not too sure if a replacement will fix this as all wired headsets suffer from the same issue.
