When my son uses it via USB on his PS4, he can Mute clicking the button on the USB piece. Red light comes on. Then he can't Un-mute.



If he plugs the 3.5 MM cord into his PS4 controller, Mute does not work at all using the small controller on the cord. You can select red or black, but it has no effect.



The headset is set-up correctly under Devices in PS4. It is just the Mute or un-mute issue. So he has an $85 headset that does not mute properly. Really? A basic $25 headset from Amazon seems to handle Mute and un-mute with ease.
