Razer Kraken Ultimate causing sound and computer crashes

Hi all, for the past 4-5 days I've been having issues with my Razer headset randomly disconnecting from all sound (computer and game) whilst playing Rust (via steam), due to the sound disconnecting, it causes the game to freeze, I lose all game AND computer sound including discord, spotify etc. My computer then unfreezes but I am still without game sound (my computer sounds take roughly 30 seconds to return. I can sometimes reconnect the sound in-game by changing the speaker mode back and forth but sometimes (more often than not) this then causes my computer to freeze entirely. At first I thought it was the game seeing as I only get this issue with Rust however I have tried verifying game files, uninstalling and re-installing both the game AND steam itself. I have now just uninstalled and re-installed all my Razer drivers and software (headset, keyboard, mouse, base station, Razer Synapse 3) and I am STILL having this issue. I am at a loss as to what is causing this issue, why and how to fix it. Is anyone else having/had the same issue and can provide some insight? This is honestly driving me insane and making this game unplayable, as you can imagine, a game crashing mid PvP is not what anyone wants! Razer Support - please help.
