Hello,
I have recently started using my Razer Kraken Ultimate Headset. I’ve had it for a while, but I only started using it. Whenever I use it now however, (it started after like a week + of use ), it randomly pops on and off. When the headset is plugged in, ( USB cable ), it randomly creates like a popping sound, and disconnects for a short period of time. Furthermore, It does this continuously sometimes, popping off continuously after reconnecting for milliseconds. After re-plugging in, it can be prevented for a bit, but then it resumes. If I am watching media while this happens ( YouTube ), the video pauses and loads, i have to go back 10 seconds then go forward 10 seconds for it to resume with audio. Sometimes, it can go without happening for an hour then resumes, sometimes the second I boot my PC it starts to do it. I’m running ReviOS 24.12, Windows 11. 12th Gen i5-12400F, 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G. OS build - 26100.3624, version - 24H2.

The fixes I’ve tried :
- Reinstalling all Razer Software
- Reinstalling all Drivers
- Factory Resetting win11 computer.
- Changing USB its plugged into : From my desk mat extender-plug, into directly into my pc front and back
- Turning off lighting on the headset via synapse.
- Turning off setting for USB Hubs - “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
- Turn off Sound Control panel Setting - “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device”
Things I’ve considered -
- I have seen that people say it is to do with the line of Razer Kraken Ultimate’s being faulty, but I went to contact support and it said my warranty was unavailable. I don’t believe this should be a warranty issue if it was sold faulty? People are saying It is to do with stuff inside of the headset, but I don’t want to risk opening it up.
- I have considered buying another extension like other posts have said, but they tend to be expensive and I am not the most financially stable at the moment.
- I cannot contact support in anyway, so I am posting here.
