Razer Kraken Ultimate RGB Light Issues and Microphone doesn’t cancel background noise

It can still pick up background noises while I play games or when talking with people on Skype. When I first started, it could even block out my dog’s barking. Now, everything is easy to pick up even after adjusting the settings on Synapse. Also, the RGB on the headset continues to stay on even after asking Synapse to turn it off. So is this headset damaged? Any help is apprecoiated
