Razer kraken V3 pro does not work wireless

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Razer Kraken V3 Pro (wireless) after updating the dongle firmware. The dongle updated successfully, but now the headset itself won’t connect or be detected for its own firmware update.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Updated the dongle via the official Razer Firmware Updater (successful).
  • Connected the headset directly via USB cable (not through the dongle).
  • Tried different USB ports, including USB 3.0.
  • Fully charged the headset before trying again.
  • Restarted both Razer Synapse and the Firmware Updater as Administrator.
  • Attempted to re-pair the headset and dongle using the Pairing Utility.
  • Tried the “force firmware mode” (Volume + + Mic Mute while connecting).

Despite all this, the Firmware Updater still doesn’t detect the headset — it just says “Please connect your headset” indefinitely.

When I turn on the headset the light goes on but I do not get the start beep, it just shuts down again.

Has anyone experienced this after the latest dongle update? Any tips or workaround would be greatly appreciated.
