Razer Kraken V4 Pro haptics not working at all

I recently purchased the Razer Kraken V4 Pro, but the haptic feedback  does not work at all on my unit.

I previously owned the Kraken V3, and the haptics worked flawlessly, so I am familiar with how the feature should behave.

On the V4 Pro I feel no vibration or haptic feedback whatsoever, regardless of the content being played.

Troubleshooting already attempted:

  • Installed the latest Razer Synapse 4

  • Updated firmware and checked for updates

  • Enabled Haptic Intensity in Synapse

  • Tested both Sensa HD mode and Audio-to-Haptics

  • Confirmed audio is playing at sufficient volume

  • Ran the Razer Device Detection Troubleshoot Tool

  • Restarted Synapse and my PC

  • Reconnected the headset and tested different USB ports

  • Tried multiple games and media sources even my PS5

None of these steps made any difference.

Additional details:

  • Windows PC

  • Synapse 4 installed

  • Device is detected correctly

  • All audio functions work normally

  • Only the haptics feature is not functioning

Has anyone experienced this issue with the Kraken V4 Pro, or could this be a firmware or hardware problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m having the same exact issue, really considering returning or using my warranty.

Leave it to razer to sell a feature for $500 and do jack shit to actually make it work. My Kraken V3’s make the Audio to Haptics feel awesome and properly booming, rarely ever triggering for voices. My second hand V4 Pros don’t work with the A-to-H unless I turn it off, then back on. And the Sensa HD has never ever ever worked for any single “supported” game.

I have tried factory resetting them, reinstalling Synapse (which has broken other things like Chroma Connect for a while),  etc. Nothing. How is this not illegal?
