Razer Kraken X console

I just got a brand new razer kraken x console edition for christmas. I plugged it in and used it on my laptop and it worked fine, granted it was on "mute mode". Then I went to use it on my Xbox, which it is intended for, and after a few minutes a static noise started. If I unplug the headset it goes away for a minute or two until it starts up again. I have switched controllers, updated everything, changed the audio output settings, and cleaned the inside of one of my audio jacks out and it still happens.
