Razer Kraken X Headset not being recognized and mic being quiet.

Hello. For some reason when I turn on my computer my headset isn't recognized. I have to unplug and re-plug the audio jack for the headset to hear sound. And on some occasions when I try to talk through my mic my voice is quiet. I even maxed out all the mic volume settings and my mic is still quiet. It only goes away when I restart my PC but it's gotten annoying over the past few days. How can I fix this? Thanks!!!

(My computer is a iMac 4K from 2017. I am using the Windows operating system via Bootcamp)

Your headset not being recognized may be due to driver issues, which is a common issue on Bootcamp. Is the headset working on macOS? I highly recommend that you download the latest version of Bootcamp then download the latest updates. By the way, do you have an analog or a USB variant of the Kraken X?

As for the mic sensitivity issue, it is possible that the port isn't giving enough power for the headset to function properly. Do test the mic on a smartphone if you have an analog variant. Let me know if you get the same results.
Hello! Thanks for the reply. My headset is using the standard headphone jack or the analog version. I will test the headset on the macos side and test the mic on my smartphone.

Did you get better results on the smartphone? Do PM me the serial number of your headset so I can help you further isolate the issue.
Sorry for the late reply. One the phone I didn't get better results either. However, I noticed that my headset mic isn't sounding quiet, it's acting normal as it should ( on my iMac running Bootcamp). I still have to disconnect and re-connect the headphone jack for the headset to be recognized but other than that I haven't encountered the mic issue...yet.

By this, do you mean you still didn't get any audio from the headset on a smartphone? In any case, please PM me the serial number of the headset. Let's go from there.
