Razer Kraken X mic connected but no sound

I have bought a Razer Kraken X today and connected it to my MSI laptop. The headphone audio works fine but there is no sound coming from the mic. I have tried every fix in the internet.
  • Updated Windows
  • Updated Audio Drivers
  • Made sure Realtek Audio identifies the mic
  • Tested in another machine - works fine then
  • Tested other headsets in this machine and they work fine
  • Made sure the correct option is set as default input
However nothing works. Please let me know a fix for this

I appreciate the troubleshooting you've done. Please check your Realtek Audio Console then, make sure to enable pop-up dialog. Unplug and replug the device and select the headset on the pop-up window. Should the problem persists, please PM me your device's serial number to look for other possible fixes.
