My laptop (Acer Nitro 5) is not detecting my headset's mic in the microphone setting or the device manager. It didn't even prompt me to check which type of audio hardware this is(headset, mic, speaker, etc.) when i first plugged in the headset to my laptop. Please help me in this issue since the primary reason i bought this headset is for in-game comms.

Were there any changes made to your system/device before connecting the headset? Are you connecting the headset to your laptop without its 3.5mm splitter extension cable? Have you check your Windows microphone privacy and allow which apps to use your Razer Kraken X microphone? Try connecting your headset to a different computer or device with a 3.5mm port and check if it has the same behavior. Also, please don't use your Razer device's serial number as your Razer ID as others might use this information. I’ll be locking this thread now.
