Razer Kraken x mic very quiet and friends can hear my pc audio

Bought the Razer Kraken X on amazon as it was a cheap, highly rated headset. It has been the worst headset i have owned so far, worse than £20 headsets i have used, purely because of the mic i mean, the headphones audio is excellent, but the mic is actually terrible despite sparkling reviews and tests from what i saw it's been so annoying, and i just want it to work right Any help?
