Razer Kraken X USB headset being too quiet

Hello,

Since yesterday I am having an issue with my Razer Kraken X USB headset. Everything was fine with audio until certain moment when audio suddenly went much quieter than usual. At the volume set to 100% it was actually about 20-30% when testing.

Advanced tab under the Speakers settings however seem to have a sample sound to test quality and volume of a speaker (headset in this case) and when I click on this, it seems to be much louder.

I saw people having similar issue but all the solutions didn't work for me. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Synapse again to no avail. Fiddling around volume settings in Windows didn't help either. I am out of ideas.

    Hello ​@wokulbo1,

    Please bear with me for a bit. Can you uninstall your headset drivers by following the steps below and check if the issue continues? Please also send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and look for applicable workarounds that might address the volume issue you're currently experiencing.

    1. Open the "Device Manager".
    2. Expand "Audio inputs and outputs".
    3. Right-click the headset and select "Uninstall device".
    4. Restart the computer to fully remove the drivers. They will automatically reinstall upon restart.
