Razer Kraken X usb Leaking liquid on volume knob. Am I the only one

I've noticed that if I don't use my Kraken X headset for a few days and then go to use it there is a yellowish grease/liquid on the volume knob and its starting to get annoying. I'm sure this is just the grease from the knob. Is there something that I can do to keep it from leaking. I'm pretty sure I'm still in warranty so I don't want to open it up yet and try to clean up some of the grease and apply new grease.
